2009 Student Scholarship Recipient

GFAF has rewarded Grant Lindahl, a recent Catoctin High School graduate with a passion for art with a $1,770 scholarship.
Grant will be attending Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in the fall and this scholarship will allow him to learn and create.
Eddie Araya, GFAF board member, got a chance to speak to Grant Lindahl at the Community Foundation of Frederick County’s Second Annual Scholarship Reception and found Grant to be extremely intelligent and creative. He is working on some art panels that sound very interesting that we’ll all hear about soon. Stay tuned for more of what Grant is doing at MICA.
