The GFAF board of directors is pleased to announce that on June 11th the first ever GFAF Annual Appreciation Awards will be presented at the Annual Meeting. These awards will be presented to pre-selected GFAF members who have gone that extra mile in service to the club through their tireless efforts on volunteer time. The recipients are non-board members who have contributed countless hours over the past year to different club programs and/or events.
Please join us at the Annual Meeting held in the C. Burr Artz Trust Conference Room on June 11th at 5pm to find out who these fantastic folks are… OH, and also to see who your new incoming 2009/2010 GFAF board of directors will be!

Congratulations to Casey Berry of Salisbury University who received a Silver ADDY for her “Where’s My Mind” Illustration at the District Two Regional ADDY competition, held in NYC. This was the second of the three tier annual ADDY competition. Casey won a Gold ADDY for her work at the local level, the GFAF ADDY Awards, held on March 7th. Her work will now move on to compete at the National ADDY Awards, the final tier, held this year in Washington DC, June 4-6, at the AAF Conference.
