Breakfast Session A Success
The first GFAF Breakfast Session for freelancers and micro-business owners was a great start to the 2009/2010 GFAF calendar. With 11 attendees, the discussion on support networks brought the group to topics of relying on networks (including our friends and family) to help or guide us when times are tough. It was agreed that the importance/value of extending your networking by joining groups such as GFAF, AIGA and other industry and non-industry-related networking groups is a great way to build your network to help support you when you need it most. The size and strength of your network can help you discover that you are not alone, even when you feel like you are. Pick up where the conversation left off here.
A big thank you to all the attendees: Kim Dow, Harriett Wise, James Hersick, Diane Demarco, Kristina Hopkins, Adam Frey, Kimberly Prior, Mary Ann Beane, Megan Mullaney, Jennifer Mellace and Ellen Byrne.
Next breakfast session is November 4th: “Marketing your Business” RSVP NOW
