Festival of the Greens
Ad Fed members are known for their creativity. Here is a unique community activity where you can put your creative energy to help foster in the holidays. The Frederick Arts Council has announced that the Frederick Festival of Greens will take place November 21-29. This inaugural event provides an opportunity for artists, businesses, school groups, nonprofit organizations, and all local residents a chance to participate by decorating a holiday wreath or tree that will become part of a public display during the Festival. At the conclusion of the Festival, all the decorated pieces will be auctioned off with the proceeds benefiting the arts in Frederick County. During the eight-day public display period, your wreath or tree will be seen by hundreds of people providing great exposure for you or your business. There is no fee to participate, however participants must provide their own supplies and materials. Wreaths or trees must be dropped off by November 14th.
