The ADDY committee has been working hard to ensure the competition, refreshments and entertainment are perfect! This years ADDYS are co-chaired by Emily Dorr and Lisa Gorham and the committee members consist of employees from most local advertising, public relations, and graphic design companies.

The annual Greater Frederick Advertising Federation’s ADDY Competition is a national competition that recognizes creative excellence. It is the first of three competitions beginning locally with the winners moving up to compete regionally and then nationally. Also, two other awards are presented during the ADDYs: The American Advertising Federation’s Silver Medal Award Program was established in 1959 to recognize men and women who have made outstanding contributions to advertising and who have been active in furthering the industry’s standards, creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern.

The Crystal Prism Award is an American Advertising Federation honor bestowed on members who have demonstrated outstanding commitment and leadership to their local chapter. A Greater Frederick Advertising Federation member is selected by the GFAF board of directors for his/her long-standing dedication and ongoing support of the federation through personal and professional contributions.
